(Please ignore the title of the clip. :() <\/p>\n<p>[youtube]zlfKdbWwruY[\/youtube]<\/p>\n<p>And next, musicians from all over the world unite in a recording of Ben E. King&#8217;s &#8220;Stand by Me&#8221; in the PBS-sponsored PLAYING FOR CHANGE: PEACE THROUGH MUSIC:<\/p>\n<p>[youtube]DU_wLhpp5V4[\/youtube]<\/p>\n<p>As I said in class, every time I watch these videos, I tear up. Something about diverse people uniting in these ways awes me. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>We also talked about some other ways that people can communicate universally, across language, ethnicity, cultural, and religious barriers. We came up with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>hand gestures<\/li>\n<li>facial expressions<\/li>\n<li>artwork<\/li>\n<li>symbols (like logos)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If I&#8217;ve left anything out that you remember, please add it in the comments.
