Pieces of our potential songs-to-be

LISTEN AT YOUR OWN RISK. Ha. These are just pieces of songs, sometimes a whole verse and chorus, often only a line or two with some humming to represent more of the tune. Not much of anything now, really. But maybe one day…

I record these all over the place, usually on my phone: in the car, in my classroom, in the kids’ room, in the bathroom…whenever inspiration strikes.

I found a great little Droid app called TapeMachine by Samalyse that I loved so much it was the first app I ever paid for. Since I switched to iPhone, though, I haven’t been able to find a comparable app for recording and editing. Voice Record is the best of the ones I’ve tried so far.
