Spring Haiku Flowers

Martia shows off her haiku flower.

  • Cut out a (stemless) flower.
  • Write the haiku on the flower.
  • Be colorful and creative.

The plan is to make a poetry garden with lots of green paper stems and their haiku flowers all over top. I’ll be sure to post pictures once it’s done … probably next week, since I opened the activity up to 1st and 3rd periods, too, today.
