Mrs. Ripp’s students came up with a great list of ways the Internet is like the mall.
What do you think? Which do you think is the best? The funniest? The most difficult to believe? Are there any comparison points they missed?
I think the comparison of the internet to the mall is funny because these kids are very young and make references like “Don’t follow them even if they promise you candy.” I think this is funny what the kids came up with but it is also helpful.
You have to know your audience, right? What changes could we make to adapt their list to teenagers?
The internet is like the mall simply because anything can happen, and almost everything will happen.
